Roblox Bundle is available now for $300 with a 1TB version of the console

As Xbox One moves into the end of its life, Microsoft is working to make the system appeal more to families. To that end, the company is launching the Xbox One S Roblox Bundle that includes some in-game bonuses for the popular player-powered game.

The Xbox One S Roblox Bundle is available now for $300 with a 1TB version of the console. It also includes a download code for Roblox, which is a game where players create content, worlds, and games for one another. Of course, Roblox is already free-to-play, so like the Xbox Fortnite bundle, this gives players other bonuses. You will get 2,500 Robux to spend on microtransactions as well as three exclusive items.

This bundle also comes with one month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Game Pass has a Netflix-style library of games as well as the premium version of Xbox Live. Once that expires, however, players will have to pay for Xbox Live to continue accessing the Roblox servers.

With the Roblox bundle, Microsoft is trying to make things easier for families. If a kid asks for Minecraft, Fortnite, or Roblox, Microsoft now has $300 bundles for those parents to go out and buy.

This is a smart strategy for Microsoft because those kinds of families are the most likely to have sat out the current generation of hardware. And if Microsoft can get those families into the Xbox ecosystem with a subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, the young Roblox fan may continue to choose Xbox as they get older.

Intellivision takes more than 10,000 VIP edition preorders for Amico console in a few days

Intellivision Entertainment‘s Amico retro video game console is proving popular with gamers who are anticipating its October launch in spite of the coronavirus pandemic.

In a presale, Intellivision has received robux generator more than 10,000 preorders for the VIP version of the Amico, which is available for presales until Tuesday. Tommy Tallarico, CEO of Intellivision, said in an email that the company started presales of the VIP version on March 31 for $249 (for the black and the white versions) and $279 for a woodgrain version. Those VIP versions come with two controllers, six games, a $25 gift card for more games, a 3D Lenticular playing card autographed by Tallarico, and three digital video game soundtrack albums. Tallarico said he was pleased with the latest presale, which ends on Tuesday.

“And that’s one of the amazing things about this,” Tallarico said. “All this is happening during the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression.”

Back in January, Tallarico said that the company sold 2,600 Founders Edition Amico consoles in five hours. (The 2,600 number was a jab at rival Atari, which used to sell the Atari 2600 decades ago. Atari has had trouble getting its latest VCS console to market.) With all of the preorders, consumers put down a $100 deposit. But that amount is completely refundable. So far, very few have asked for refunds, Tallarico said.

General Information

The Item Shop in Fortnite Battle Royale is refreshed daily, and offers new cosmetic items for use in the game.

These purchases free v bucks generator are strictly decorative, and do not offer any advantage in game.

There are four types of items in the shop:

  • Skins that change the appearance of the character you control.
  • Gliders that change the appearance of the parachute you use to descend onto the island,
  • Harvesting equipment that changes the appearance of the pickaxe your character uses to destroy objects on the map and collect resources.
  • Emotes are animations that your character can perform on command.
  • Animations can consist of a simple wave, acrobatics or dances.
  • Each animation has its own sound effects, and almost all the dances are accompanied by a melody of their own.

The shop is divided into two parts: the Featured Items section, which contains episode hack items that are generally more rare, more expensive and typically remain available in the shop for forty-eight hours.

The second is Daily Items. and always contains two skins, two emotes, a glider and a pickaxe. Items in this category are less rare and less expensive, and only remain available in the shop for 24 hours.

Dance at Lake Canoe, Camp Cod and Rainbow Rentals

Fortnite Chapter 2 season 2, which started Feb. 20, gave the game a spy motif. As in previous seasons, players can purchase a Battle Pass to unlock skins, emotes and other cosmetics for 950 V-Bucks, or approximately $9.50. Unlocking the content requires players to earn experience points, and tackling the weekly challenges gives the largest number of points. The most notable unlockables are the fully customizable Maya, the powerful Meowscles and the gold-armed Midas for those who reach tier 100. Season 2 also sees the inclusion of the fourth-wall-breaking Marvel hero Deadpool. His outfit can be unlocked by completing the special Deadpool weekly challenges.

Dance at Lake Canoe, Camp Cod and Rainbow Rentals

Dancing tasks are common in each season for Fortnite. This week’s challenge isn’t much different than others, but check the map below on where to do a little dance to complete it.

Destroy dog houses

Dog houses are scattered across the island, mainly in the suburban areas like Pleasant Park, Salty Springs and Holly Hedges. Check the backyards of the houses to find them.

Ride the Steamy Stacks and a Zipline and use a Secret Passage in a single match

This challenge seems a little complicated, and in a way it is. To start, head to Steamy Stacks and go inside the big towers to complete the first part of the task. Ziplines can be found all over the island, so keep an eye out when traveling. Secret passages are port-a-potties that’ll transport you to another location on the island. There are plenty of them to choose from, so keep looking for one after completing the first two parts of the challenge.

Here are the rest of the challenges:

  • Search chests at Frenzy Farm or Steamy Stacks (0/10).
  • Deal damage to players using an assault rifle (0/1000).
  • Search a chest within 10 seconds after landing from the Battle Bus (0/10).
  • Deal damage to players while riding in a Choppa (0/200).
  • Catch a weapon, a can and a fish.
  • Eliminate opponents at the yacht or Salty Springs (0/5).
  • Block damage with a Decoy Grenade (0/100).

Deadpool challenges

Fortnite Deadpool
Wade Wilson has been busy. Epic Games

As mentioned earlier, Deadpool fortnite v bucks generator is the big surprise in season 2. There’s a set of weekly challenges that, once completed, should unlock the Deadpool outfit. The first task is to actually find the challenge.

From the game lobby, click on the vent off to the right.

That vent looks mighty suspicious. Epic Games

This’ll take players to Deadpool’s secret room.

Players can read his meta letter to Epic saying how he could design a better Battle Bus.

All that’s left is to click on the computer and see the challenges. This’ll complete the first challenge for the week. The second has players jumping off the Battle Bus without thanking the bus driver. This is easy to do. Just don’t press the designated button to thank the bus driver at the start of the match. Those two challenges will complete the week 1 challenges.

Week 2 challenges are up. The first requires players to find Deadpool’s milk carton.

The milk carton is in Deadpool’s secret room. Just keep an eye out for it.

The second challenge for the week has players look for the Marvel hero’s favorite food, chimichangas. These fried snacks can be found across the various lobby screens.

For week 3, Deadpool is in need of a toilet plunger.

All that’s needed is to head over to TNTina’s room by clicking on the Agents’ option from the main lobby. Look for it on the wall.

The second challenge for the week is destroying a toilet. This is easy enough to do. Simply go into a bathroom in any building on the map and destroy the porcelain throne.

Week 4 has two new challenges for Deadpool. The first is looking for his katanas, which are easy to find. Just head back to his “office” and they’ll be sticking out of the wall.

The next challenge is also quick and easy. All that’s needed is to damage an opponent’s structure, which should be done anyway during a match.

Week 5 adds two more Deadpool challenges for players to complete to obtain the Deadpool skin.

Well today we have a rather weird Fortnite Chapter 2 Meowscles challenge

Well today we have a rather weird Fortnite Chapter 2 Meowscles challenge that asks you to do a whole bunch of different things in a single match. Some may find it easy, but others, not so much. But I’m here to try and help. The challenge is to ride the Steamy Stacks, use a zipline and a secret passage all in the same match.

At this point, I think you know what two of these are.

Steamy Stack is a big POI in the top right of the map, and to “ride them” you have to go inside the central chambers which will allow you to float, which should count v buck generator.

Ziplines are from the last map and have been around a while. I have marked the map below where there’s a zipline pretty close to Steamy, though there are probably more.

Secret passages? Those are a little trickier.

These are not wall vents, these are those portapotties you see around the map that can transport you through their tubes (gross) to another portapotty somewhere else.Today In: Games

I’ve taken the liberty of making a map with all the ones I can find, though there are no doubt more than this. As you can see, there are a halfway decent amount around Steamy Stacks, including some on the Yacht, though that may be a dangerous place to try this.

Fortnite EPIC

You’re going to want to stay in that corner and try to do all three in a single match without some jerk killing you, but I think it’s definitely doable.

One word of warning is that secret passages do not appear in Rumble modes, so you have to do this in a standard mode or they just won’t show up.

If the passage ends up taking you somewhere you don’t want to be, you can just hop back in and it will take you back where you came from. It isn’t random.

I don’t think this will be terribly difficult in the end provided you can locate all of this stuff in short order. It’s probably going to be one of the 18 quests you do in order to begin the Meowscles SHADOW or GHOST loyalty quest, given that it’s easier than most. That will be live pretty soon after people starting doing the rest of the challenges today, so stay tuned for a guide for that.

Fortnite Deadpool challenges are a little harder

Fortnite Deadpool challenges are a little harder, and some of them are pretty easy. We’re going to go ahead and call this one of the easier ones. We’re in Week 5 now, which means we’re nearly halfway through the season and presumably pretty close to actually unlocking the Deadpool skin, though come to think of it I’m not sure in what week this will happen. To get your challenge, start by heading down the air vent and into Deadpool’s bathroom. Read on for the location of his unicorn.

Several of these things have been in briefing rooms before, and it’s no surprise that this one is in Meowscles; briefing room considering he’s the featured agent this week v buck generator. so head up the stairs, select Meowscles and watch his little intro. The unicorn is right there on the floor next to the benchpress:

Today In: Games

That’s it: go pick up the Unicorn and get ready to move on to the next stage of the challenge, which involves visiting bridges all over the map. while this is one of the easier HQ-based challenges we’ve had in a bit, it’s actually one of the harder map-based challenges. Not hard in any traditional sense, of course, but a little harder than destroying toilets or what have you.

My main question with the Deadpool skin is when the character will actually arrive in the game: in the past, challenge skins have been doled out around week 8, but that was when they were much harder to earn and players needed a bit of time to complete all the requisite challenges. This one is much easier, overall, so it’s not impossible that we’ll be kept playing until week 10 to unlock this fellow.

Deadpool has been a fun little distraction as the season has gone on: I wonder if the challenges will continue to escalate in complexity as we get closer to release, or if this is just going to keep being an easy little thing to check in with every Friday. We’ll see what happens with next week’s challenges, which is something to look forward to in a world where we have no idea if next week will look anything like a world we recongize.

I expect Fortnite traffic to explode in the coming days for a few reasons

It’s the story of the week. Video game servers have been having sporadic problems as millions of people around the world hunker down for an extended period of quarantine or lockdown, and many are turning to games to fill the time. We’ve seen issues with services like Xbox Live, Nintendo and Discord, and now it appears it’s time for Fortnite. Epic is reporting that people are having trouble with more or less everything related to connectivity:

We know that Epic Games can handle gigantic numbers of players, and that the game is pretty far off from its colossal peak. We saw a couple of problems when the game went through rapid growth back in 2018, but it’s possible that a large traffic spike could still cause problems. Hopefully Epic gets this under control soon, because we need this thing.

Social media is currently full of reports confirming that we’re having trouble playing this thing: a quick search of “Fortnite Down” reveals a ton of results in the last few minutes.

I expect Fortnite traffic to explode in the coming days for a few reasons. For one thing, there are a huge number of “latent” players out there: people that used to play and stopped for whatever reason, either moving on to different games or not. Secondly, Fortnite is particularly good at the kind of low-level social interaction people need so badly right vbucks generator now. Battle Royale has a ton of down time in between encounters, and it’s a good way to just sort of hang out with your friends. Finally, Fortnite was always most popular with kids, and kids are the ones that are finding themselves with the largest glut of extra time now that schools are closed in many places.

We’ll keep an eye on it, and hopefully things will stabilize soon. Like I said, Epic has most definitely handled traffic spikes before.

Fortnite: Battle Royale is one of the most popular games on the globe

Fortnite: Battle Royale is one of the most popular games on the globe. Now, with governments shutting down schools, entertainers canceling events and even Disneyland closing, the game may be getting a boost. And so might the way to watch it, too.

As Italy’s government enforces a mass quarantine, shutting down stores, restaurants and schools in an effort to slow the coronaviruspandemic, telecommunications companies have noticed a surge in traffic. And a lot of it’s coming from video games such as Fortnite and Call of Duty, both of which pit players against one another in online battlefields.

“We reported an increase of more than 70% of internet traffic over our landline network, with a big contribution from online gaming such as Fortnite,” Telecom Italia Chief Executive Officer Luigi Gubitosi said on a conference call, earlier reported by Bloomberg.

Epic, which makes Fortnite, didn’t respond to CNET’s request for comment. Activision said Call of Duty: Warzone, the newest addition to its series that was released this week, attracted 6 million people to play in its first 24 hours. “We’re just getting started,” the company tweeted.

Data from the online game analytics service Esports Charts shows the number of viewers has roughly doubled over the same time a year ago. TwitchTracker, another analytics service following activity Amazon’s popular game streaming company it bought in 2014 for nearly $1 billion, shows each major game increasing viewership as well. Twitch didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

As more people around the world are told to keep their distance from one another, work remotely and, ideally, stay with v buck generator home, cabin fever could set in quick. It’s no wonder that some people are retreating to the online world as a mental escape from the real one.

Bloomberg reported that Vodafone in the UK and Telia in Sweden are preparing for surging bandwidth demands. With schools now closing across the US, local carriers and services are likely not far behind.

Discord, a video and chat app popular among gamers, said it is expanding the number of people who can use its group video chat service up to 50 at a time as it expects demand to surge as more people stay home.

Comcast said it’s increasing bandwidth for people who pay for slower connections, and it’s going to offer free service for the next 60 days to low-income families who sign up as new customers. “As schools and businesses close and families are encouraged, or even mandated, to stay home, Internet connectivity becomes even more important,” Comcast said in a statement.

Verizon and AT&T in the US said in a separate statements Wednesday they hadn’t seen increases in data usage so far. Verizon added that it plans to spend as much as $18.5 billion this year upgrading its networks to support 5G wireless and more reliability. Verizon also said it will prioritize network demands of US hospitals, first responders and government agencies if its network comes under strain.

Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint each said they will be suspending data caps during the coronavirus outbreak.
